I know that the PRS stock is VERY popular in AR builds. I'll be one of the first to say that the cool factor is definitely there. There isn't very much adjustment for length but more importantly, why is there a need for an adjustable cheek piece with the AR? Basically, you're already looking down the top of a straight length of pipe. The scope wants to be mounted as close to center bore as possible and still be comfortable but it's not like an AR has a lot of drop like a Rem 700. Personally, I have to use extra high mounts: Ring Height: .811" (measured from base of ring to bottom of scope tube). I've tried using shorter mounts, but my neck can't take it after a long session shooting prone like a morning of shooting prairie dogs. I even noticed it shooting over pickup mirror. I've got a high dollar set of high rings on one AR that's sitting on top of some YHM risers. Looks terrible and added more weight and cost, but my neck sure feels better. Since then I've only gone with the extra high. Why the need to go higher than the A2 stock height? You're already above the bore due to the buffer tube being a fixed point. Maybe my head is just too big! Just my .02 on it anyway
