The .260 Remingtons were 26" and 22" barrels, versus my 16" Grendel. The .260's hit the plates a lot harder, but I could have told you that years ago. Hit probability wise, the guy who tried my Grendel cleaned the KYL rack with it as I mentioned, so the biggest thing really is wind. The 16" Grendel trajectory is more like a .308, but with less wind drift and almost no recoil, which is why I got totally out of .308 Winchester.
I intended to do cold weather testing with my CFE ladders, but no dice. I'll test it up to whatever hot weather we get. If it ends up being anything like last year, we'll have temps over 100 F for a long time.
