That's surprising, because there are many videos showing soldiers looking over or around their cover. (There seem to be an astonishing number of mud brick walls in Afghanistan!)

Sorry. I meant looking over or around cover without exposing themselves to enemy fire. I believe that you have posted at least one video in which enemy rounds were impacting near the soldiers. Something to allow a safe view around or over the mud brick wall would have been useful in that situation.

I mentioned the periscopes partly in jest. You have to admit, though, that launching a torpedo towards the enemy would be pretty cool.
