That sounds pretty much exactly how I expected it to behave!

I do not believe a fixed barrel necessarily is a bad thing. If you need more firepower, bring more guns. This way you get more control over the battlefield, and the weight and bulk saved with the barrel can be used to carry more ammo.
It would however be nice to have the possibility to change the barrel without sending the gun to the armory.

I think this gun would be spot on in places like Afghanistan, and for fighting in built up areas. Not that you would be clearing rooms with it, but it should be able to perforate almost any kind of wall, wile being light and compact enough, to allow the gunner to easily carry it and deploy it wherever he sees necessary. Due to the weight (18-19 pounds as I saw mentioned earlier in the thread), it should even be fairly easy to shoot it from the shoulder as well.
