Barrel length is not too important. I'm looking at a 16" to 20". But I can cut and thread whatever I get.
Quality wise I'm looking to build a precision rifle. I'm new to 6.5 so I wouldn't know what the best is. But I am on a tight budget. I'm Law Enforcement, and don't have a lot of extra cash.

What do you value your barrel and bolt at? What might you be looking for besides another barrel? I have AR accessories, Remington 700 parts, Remington 870's. I also do gunsmithing, and custom re-finishing.
