Or why they said it was SAAMI spec and kind of pass the buck once confronted with our issues? If a reputable gunsmith confirmed a short throat within minutes of looking at one, that makes me wonder if Saturn might not have thoroughly checked? Just seems odd to me when several of us expressed concerns then after the fact a completely different company confirmed the suspicions with ease.
I will be sending my barrel to PF and hopefully mark can look at my bolt with it since the lugs look pretty beat up (after 25 rounds of factory Hornady ammo and 10 low velocity handloads)
To be honest this experience has kind of ruined the Grendel for me. This was my first rifle in the caliber and i'm really considering washing my hands of it and going with a .308 AR now.
