Well, it would seem to me the obvious thing to do would be call LW and ask the questions you have to the company that built the barrel.

I have heard both sides of the argument that fluting a post production barrel can cause problems with it, and that it is no big deal, both sides from reputable manufacturers and gunsmiths.

I'm not sure what to believe, but if it were mine, I'd call the company that built it and ask!
