So YES the Stone/Liberty barrels are throated shorter, a year ago same as today. My friends Stoner shoots lights out with no pressure signs with my reloads. So my take on the stoner barrels are they have always been cut this way.
Which would seem to remove the "Shoot it and See if It Gets Better" angle.
