Newbie Questions

Ok, that makes sense. I'm not really into bench shooting, it doesn't seem that practical to me. But if you're on one, you probably have a scope, and now that I think about it I can definitely see how the traditional charging handle could get in the way or be impeded by a scope or prone position. Which would make me consider one for a hunting rifle, where I might have both situations at once. I couldn't really understand the hype before. Thanks
