I would like to hear this too. Everything i've seated for my barrel has been well past the cannelure, but it is my understanding the 129 and 140 SST aren't made for the Grendel so the cannelure isnt a factor like the 123 is?
To the previous post... this is not to be rude at all, just something to think about. If you don't have the tools to check anything on a rifle you built or are building, you might want to have a gunsmith do so? Again not trying to be rude but when i decided to build mine i bought every measuring device Hornady made, but then again i handload.
