I agree with you Joe. The barrels shouldn't require any work from the factory.
I was just pointing out that it probably isn't a bolt or head space issue. I am sure Saturn used a SAAMI reamer. I don't think they got the surface finish right. I wonder what a chamber cast would look like and measure in at.
Saturn's response was a little lacking. They may not have gotten all of the info though.
