I was in the garage and heard a sliding door open on a truck. Went to check the door, and the Postman was delivering my 18" Liberty barrel. It wasn't supposed to be here until Friday.
I checked the OD on the barrel extension and it was .9975 with a set of cheap calipers. Not a press fit, but it's not sloppy on the upper, no wobble that I can feel. I'll try it without loctite the first time and check the accuracy. I can loctite later if needed. I guess it's time to start putting this baby together. My first build so I'll be going SLOW. I'll re-read all the tips and hints that everyone's shared with me, and go from there. Questions to follow, I'm sure.
