I actually like the 240 split hollow point solid brass (no lead). They would be less likely to penetrate and keep going, just blow a hell of hole in them if they got into my hallways. I have a 30 foot hall into a 30 foot great room so distance is a necessity if they get into my house. Pistols for the closer range but the Wulf lives near by.
I have tested the Solid Brass Spitzer on AR500 but just left a gold splatter on the black plate. It will penitrate the Kevlar better but the 240 is a surface and quick opener round. I do ballistic tests on all kinds of rounds and just had some Grendel Barnes TAC-TX 100gr with 29gr of H335 loaded. Dead ass accurate at 100 yards, more so than my SST's or Amax. Not sure why but going to test on the Kevlar soon.
