Hollow point meplats can sometimes hang up on certain feed ramp configurations, because this is one area where you will rarely see a good mate-up with an M4 upper and M4 feed ramps. They are supposed to work together, and usually do with pointed pills, but hollow points can and sometimes do get jammed into the seam if the ramps are not blended and polished.
