I wonder if there is any advantage over a plain old M-9 with Liberty Civil Defense in it as far as penetration or hydrostatic shock, plus you can actually find 9x19 to practice with all day long. I would definitely pick the 5.7 special ammo for an armor penetration contest, but as you suggest...that is far from likely to be a need. If it is...the noggin' probably isn't armored is it?
