LaRue, Seekins, Mega, Spike's, Rainier, Precision Firearms....all these guys make a beautiful billet set of receivers with true faces, excellent upper-to-lower mate-up, solid feel like they are one piece, and nice aesthetics. They are pretty anal about ensuring the receiver faces are true on these billet uppers, and the extension tunnels tend to be on the tight side, especially with Mega's, but that will also depend on your extension OD.
I've been squaring really badly canted forged uppers all week, and I just checked an AA forged upper. It was the only one that was perfectly flush with my lapping tool when I turned the upper on the tool. Add yet another shameless plug in my 4-year uncompensated internet marketing campaign for AA I guess. People give AA a lot of flak, but they know what they are doing when it comes to wringing accuracy out of the AR15.
As to triggers, Geissele is the easy answer. I also have used JP, AA Tactical, tuned RRA, and a bunch of other triggers on the market that you wouldn't be able to tell the difference from on my groups. For longevity, the EDM-cut Geissele's are the current trigger to beat.
