I bet someone might pay a pretty penny for a well-figured wood Carbine take-off stock. If so, it would help offset some of the conversion cost. (Many buyers of wood stocks like to see exactly what they're buying, and will pay a high price for attractive wood versus rolling the dice on a purchase.)
