There is a possibility that several of us have been thinking along similar lines.

Are you referring to the .20 Grendel described at (http://www.65grendel.com/forum/showthrea...-Grendel)?

If so, Hornady built the dies to a drawing I created and sent to them and to Manson reamers. BTW, the neck diameter is set to allow simple sizing from 6.5 Grendel brass without any need for neck turning.

Referring to Bwaites' picture in the OP, I discovered that I can go from 6.5 to .204 in two steps by using a 6mm PPC as the intermediate die. The difference, I think, is that the bushing presents a very sharp radius that the brass has a hard time moving around, and the standard FL die does not have that feature.
