The Accutrigger and Accustock seem to work well. A quality scope makes a difference too.

While I know that nukes has already snagged his youngest's CZ, I have to agree with you. My savage hog hunter M11, while a bit plain looking, has far exceeded my expectations. Without doing anything to it, except for a camo paint job, it is putting 1/2 inch groups together all day long. Smaller, if I regulate caffeine intake. This has the accutrigger, but a basic synthetic stock. Terrific performance, for a gun out of the box, and very small capital investment.
