I think the 527 has the potential to do the same, but I already have a couple of .223's that can shoot sub 1/2 inch groups.
The plan is to also upgrade to the varmint stock—or an after-market stock if I find the right one (adjustable cheekpiece would be nice).

Finally found a local one and picked it up minutes ago. Because this is a birthday gift for my youngest, I wanted the lightest action consistent with quality. After looking at short action and falling block action options, I settled on this... after over-thinking it for quite some time.
