A protractor with a weighted string (plum bob) to find the angle and a small calculator is probably the cheapest method I can think of to correct for slope in a long distance shot. This probably also requires some solid range estimation skills (milling the target). Then your corrected shot distance should be calculated with

uncorrected range(Cos(angle))= corrected range
