I purposely stay out of these back and forth and witch hunting episodes, but I have to respond to the recent one here.
TED: I sent you a PM. Publicly, I never blamed you for the first batch problem. I didn't even suspect you sent the supposed "wrong" bolt, as I know, you know better. I was only told by Maxim that the measurements were pulled off a bolt someone sent him. We have since sent drawings back and forth to correct it. We also have sent a true Grendel Bolt to Maxim to confirm all measurements. We also checked the current batch before they went into hardening and final turning. Other forum members and I recognize your input in getting Maxim and I together on this project. If it wasn't for your insistence that I call Maxim, I would have probably went to another supplier and may not have received as good of service or lead time as Frank at Maxim has given us. The quality of his workmanship is something I would back up with my name and reputation. Frank is my type of guy and I believe we will do a lot of business together. You, TED, made that happen!
