I wasn't particularly looking for an M-16 BCG, I had looked at a NiB BCG because the price wasn't that much higher than other quality BCG's I was seeing. I have since found a NiB BC only for $120. IIRC all of the NiB BCG I looked at were for M-16 except for one.
I was leaning toward an adjustable gas block. Thanks for the info on gas blocks and buffers.
Yes, I have a difficult time of over thinking things. I don't try to buy the best, but always try to get good value for my $$$. Unfortunately there are probably 10,000,000 choices when it comes to building an AR, and a bazillion combinations. So far I've only been able to work through about half of them.
Actually I've got the lower, LPK, trigger, and barrel/bolt on order. I've also managed to pick out a BC, billet upper, and handguard just got to pull the credit card and spend some money.
