They built the neck to be equal to the caliber, and they should have gone shorter. America loves .30 cals, and thats the market they went to. Its a single stack, so it wouldn't have the appeal the Grendel has in a lot of ways, but it would have been a GREAT hunting cartridge in 6.5.
Make the neck .25 and it gives you a little more boilerspace and go with 6.5. It would have rocked. I almost bought one just because they got so cheap.
