Both guns are at a pawn shop about 2 miles from where I live. I am not a fan of the m1 carbine (except as a collector of historic arms maybe), but I am a fan of Mauser rifle. I guess that they won't be getting any cheaper "even sporterized versions". I'll post some pictures when I get it. Maybe tomorrow if it is still there. Money is tight, but I can always donate plasma if I need to. Smile
