There have been some recent advances in bullet design to overcome the accuracy issues in transonic and subsonic conditions. Berger has come out with its line of "Tactical Bullets" which supposedly do so. I won't argue with the designer, Bryan Litz, since in fact, he was a real rocket scientist. He also manufactures and sells ammunition loaded with those bullets. Unfortunately, not yet in 6.5mm.
