Drifter - I agree with your conclusion based on the data you were given. However, when you see the individual data points, I hope you will agree with the conclusion I've made. Here is the raw data.

Using the Magnetospeed:
24" Satern: 2638, 2637,2645,2635,2641
24" Liberty: 2660, 2675, 2681, 2648, 2701

So you see, ALL of the Liberty barrel speeds are higher than the Satern. The ES of the Liberty is higher than the difference between averages because of the one (very) high value.

I have an idea, put a full magazine out in the sun and let it bake for a few hours, 97 degrees and sunny with no overcast, and see how much your velocities increase. You might get to 2800 fps I was going to say the oven but that might be unsafe...
