Do you have a caliper to measure the COL? Do you have some rounds left that have not been chambered? Measure the COL of the cartridge in the first picture versus some that were never chambered. It looks like the bullet crept forward a little when it was chambered. Some times that can cause a cartridge to be hard to extract. Some times it can result in higher pressures when fired. Higher pressure can make the extraction cycle more violent, treating the brass roughly, not to mention the other concerns. Just an idea...
