Ok, the way I understand it is the bolt is put into a press so the lugs set on the surface, I guess like a tube to put all the load on the lugs. Then a press with some great pressure is used and a hardened object, dowel, is placed on the surface of the bolt face where the bullet would make contact. Then pressure is applied, I don't know if they put 50,000 lbs and increase for it to withstand 70,000 lbs or it to explode at 80,000 lbs. I don't know the lbs that are acceptable and when they call it good or what the acceptable parameters are.
Maybe Precession Firearms can clear the air on this process. Mark??
