Having seen the changes from GCA '68 to present, I take a trans-generational long view. Two-steps-forward-one-step-backwards has advanced their agenda. It starts with a concept, continues with verbiage and emotional imagery, and awaits the opportune "crisis" (manufactured or otherwise).
We cannot afford to be complacent or discount any of their moves against the RKBA. Who thinks that the generation that gets suspended for eating a cookie into a gun shape will support the RKBA as strongly as the generation that preceded GCA '68? We need to shape the RKBA perspective of younger generations.
We need to shape the language and the terms of the debate. To do otherwise is to be defeated. If we wait until their plans are an immediate threat is to be defeated, so I counsel against complacency.
