I talked with my master-gunsmith, we will definately manufacture some 6.5mm Grendel Bolts (including extractor). Specs:

Material: 42CrMo4 / 1.7225 High Strength Steel
Face depth of 0.134 +/-
Treatment: plasma-nitrided
Coating: chromium nitride PVD

Do you have any information on the mechanical properties and chemical composition of 42CrMo4?
