Not sure, but here is a theory. Gun/gun parts manufactures depend on places like Midway to sell their wares in good times and bad. Since they are in it for the long haul, I would imagine they have contracts to supply X amount of bolts, barrels, uppers etc on a monthly/quarterly basis. So in between building for the individual orders, they have to keep up their obligations to the distributors. Then you throw in the manufacturers difficulties, you have a constant juggling act. Midway just had a few Grendel barrels and bolts today. Last week they had beowulfs, and may still have them. Anyway, that is how I explain this roller coaster ride we are on. Any other ideas out there?
