The Savage is not difficult at all, it simply requires a PPC bolt face available on their new 7.62x39 scout rifle, ot opening up and squaring a .223 bolt face. The Mini Mauser in 7.62x39 is also a gem of a rifle, although the prices and availability are a little tough sometimes. I will have pics on my website of both Savage and a 799, I will let you know when they are up. Savage feed lip manipulation is generally required but not in any great amount, it just takes a little patience. The 527 is a relative breeze, and a Remington 700/model 7 is also not a great deal of problem.
