Les Baer has always used Grendel Bolts. He may not be using the hard use bolts, but they are identical to the bolts that AA has used. We pulled the bolt carrier from a Les Baer rifle and compared it to my standard bolt a few years ago and it was identical. That .002 is just manufacturing tolerance.
The bolts were twins, so much so that I would have sworn they came off the same machine, and for all I know, they did. Every measurement we could do was the same, including face depth the best we could tell.
