Good catch because I did notice the deflector was slightly scratched. I also have a AR in 223 and have never noticed the deflector marred like this and wondered why my 6.5 had these marks. I'm keeping all my brass and I do have reloading equipment but I don't know how to use it yet. That's my next hobby sometime this winter.
