I am hoping to build a lightweight Grendel bolt action for carry hunting. I would like for the gun to be as light as possible, but still accurate. I have read about some problems with the Savage Actions as far as being a reliable repeater. I am definitely wanting a repeater and not single shot. So, what action would you build from, or have you built from and had success. I was thinking about either the Mini Mauser actions or the CZ 527 actions for lightweight. I don't really like the mag on the CZ, but it may be the best route to go. Any advice or opinions are greatly appreciated. Or if anyone has a Grendel bolt action that they would part with, I would be interested as well.
