rough spot in barrel at gas port

Why not remove your gas block and measure your gas port size. Find the correct drill bit and redrill the gas port hole. Maybe that will remove the burr. Just make sure to NOT drill through the bore and hit the lands on the other side. Put a wood 1/4" dowel rod in the bore to keep from hitting the lands on the other side. You could send the barrel back to the manufacture and let them do it. If it were me, I'd do it myself.
