The whole case is an example of propaganda over fact. Back when it all started shaking out, I mentioned to my ex (rabid leftie-- who knew?) what the kid really looked like, she went off like a crate of Chinese fireworks, insisting that all of those were faked by racist Republican teabaggers.
When I think of what might happen should that sort of mindless and violent mentality come up against a verdict they don't like, I'm glad that I'm a couple of thousand miles away these days.
