Police Shoot & Kill Grandfather While Responding To Burglary Call

All good points KTC, but the one "fault" that does seem to fall on the officers lap is not knowing which side of the street is odd numbers and which is even. I know when I'm looking for an address I make an observation of addresses so I know which side of the street I need to focus on for my target address (assuming they're not using GPS).

This might just be a terrible accident, but as far as I know having a gun while on your own property in TX is not a crime so this is a bad shoot.
