They started sending new kids out in pairs when the City's started treating tenured officers like garbage and they retired. Sad to say there will be more problems like this along with integrity issues as municipalities start hiring in large numbers.
Problems from Miami, New York, Chicago, L.A., etc. will come back as PD's try to fill empty positions in such large numbers that they can not control the training or quality of the recruit. Background investigations will be short or nearly non-existant, and new officers will be training new officers.
Not a very happy future until departments are not rookie heavy.
