Von Gruff that's quite an accurate insight. Unfortunately I don't know that society is capable of accepting the Islam religion for what it is.
The biggest problem I've found is that people who haven't dealt with the middle eastern culture, even many who have, can't comprehend the fact that the way they think, the way their mind works couldn't be more different than than that of ours. Most people think that on the basic fundamental levels we're the same, but that couldn't be farther from the truth.
