The big thing about political discussion that is polite while still being forthright is the airing of not only views but often nuggets of information that may not have been widely known and it is this sharing of information that is not always (or very often) diseminated on the msm that gives us (advisedly) a fighting chance to hold to the normalityof tradition and common sense.
