Yes, I think so. I don't think they even have a Grendel.

I'm not a believer of trading liberties for safety. My questions for the NY race would be:
1. Did the city/state/feds pressure the event organizer to impose the restrictions?
2. If they initiated it on their own, why would they ban 420 c.i. backpack hydrators for the participants and not 420 c.i. fanny pack hydrators?

There are no guarantees in life. Walking out the front (or back) door leaves one open to events beyond your control. Heck, even sitting inside your home leaves you vulnerable to events beyond your control as well.

I'm opposed to government cameras on every street corner. Yes, it is a public venue, but I have no interest in moving towards "1984" monitoring (and before any J.A. speaks up about thought police crap, I don't really care how/what anyone thinks, just don't peddle your garbage here).
