Let's see how the song changes when 100 to 1000 of the spectators are hospitalized for dehydration with maybe a few heat stroke deaths thrown in for good measure.

The point of the whole debate is how much we give up for the illusion of safety. Is 'even one death' avoided by preventing bombings or shootings worth multiple hospitalizations and highly likely deaths due to dehydration and heat stroke?

And, by the way, we give up liberties as a condition of travel on public transportation...again for the illusion of perfect safety. Many of us do not have the option of staying home.
