The Boston bombers, and the Saudi, I addressed in post #216. I don't know of anything about either topic that I'd consider not "kosher."
Gun control? That's a genuine issue. If you're asking for my position, I think that the 2nd Amendment protects the ability to own military-type weapons, but not sporting firearms. Therefore, I consider many gun laws to be in violation of that so-called right.
The "sorry" State of the Union? In the last 50 years, there have been many changes that I personally have found objectionable. Obviously, the people who implemented those changes considered them desirable. There is a phrase, "You can't please everybody."
As for politicians, IMO there is something wrong with anybody who desires power over other people. I dislike politicians of any stripe; at absolute best they are a necessary evil, to be tolerated if only because it isn't legal to kill them. :eek:
