Good article. I don't dispute any of that. I don't like the road we are heading down, and I haven't for some time. Our kids have been mostly homeschooled because I objected to the social/political indoctrination they were getting in public schools. Can't do much about college, but at least they have firm footing. I'm happy to say they are free thinking conservatives. My youngest just made Eagle Scout, and has enlisted in National Guard. My daughter served a hitch in US Army. They are politically aware...much more than I was at their age.

This administration in particular has moved several agencies that should be apolitical into overtly political tools that promote O's agenda of "transforming America": ATF, DoJ, DoA, DHS, etc.

Prior to my hitch on NATO staff, I was a believer in NATO. I was there on 9/11.

I was so aggravated with western Europeans that I fully supported Rumsfield's comments about "old" and "new" Europe. I wish we would abandon western European bases and move East. I would much rather send money to develop Eastern Europe than continue to pour money into the virulent anti-American western European countries (of course, they "like" us when they need something...like military capability). NATO has essentially turned into a welfare system post Berlin wall.

I enjoyed working with the Polish and Czechs. They had great attitudes, wanted to learn and contribute, and had great anecdotes about living in a true communist state.

The good news is we can still make a difference. Reject political correctness. Become politically active. Get like minded conservatives politically active. This country was at an all time low (IMNSHO) during/just after the Carter years and Ronald Reagan pulled us out of it. Yes, he made some mistakes, but the real proof of his effectiveness has history now showing (and liberals also acknowledging) that RR was one of our better modern presidents. We can wake people up and elect another conservative (not yet identified) to help us turn around this country.

Fox News blew away the competition in coverage of the Boston bombings. That at least indicates there are a fair number of Americans who are rejecting the liberal slant of CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC...even Algore Jazeera couldn't make a go with liberal cable to compete with Fox.

From my perspective, the primary reason Our Dear Leader was elected/re-elected was due to the establishment Republican party. I no longer contribute to the Republican Party, but instead donate to individual campaigns whom espouse conservative ideals. Even now there is still a war waging within Republican party where you have useful idiots in the PR department alienating Tea Party conservatives. This has to stop. There is a growing conservative movement. People are seeing the path we are headed. There is still time to turn it around.
