I see burning the flag by American citizens as a treasonous act that shows disrespect for the what our country stands for. THose citizens should have their citizenship revoked if they feel that strongly against us. Anyone no matter what the culture or background doesn't have the right to disrupt a funeral no matter what their warped cause may be. We are a melting pot of cultures and backgrounds, but without cohesion and unity toward the beliefs our constitution embodies "the flag represents", then how can we say that we are one nation at all? If there isn't a regulated path to citizenship then how much less of a unifying belief will there be toward our constitution? Tolerance toward intolerance of our central beliefs and constitution "flag being the icon", intolerable and naive.
