The serial lootings (a.v., "bailouts") and surrogate wars argue against the "agents of influence" having lost control. Certainly there are some "new (old) kids on the block" who threaten bankster hegemony. Well-armed Russia, having cultural memory of Czarist resistance to "central" bankers (explaining why Schiff, Kuhn, Loeb financed the New York/Russian Bolshevists), is an enemy or our enemy. So too, well-armed China, having cultural memory of the same mercantilist cabal (e.g., Opium Wars, HongKong), is another enemy of our enemy.

Enemies, enemies of enemies, and calculating plotters who bomb innocents (in Boston and Yemen), but do we really have any moral friends?
