Boston Bombing

Since this is a thread on the Boston bombing, I hope we can leave the Sandy Hook situation behind. There are significant questions to that investigation that I can think of:

1) Why no data linking a specific weapon to bullets from the scene?
2) What happened to the second suspect in the woods?
3) There were no living witnesses that saw the shooter actually do the shooting. All we have is post facto witnesses to the carnage.
4) Early reports said that it was pistols used, then it was changed much later to an AR.
5) Reports said an AR was found in the vehicle, and there are photos of a rifle being removed from his vehicle.
6) Local officers were rapidly excluded from evidence gathering by Federal officials, so it does stand to reason that they may know nothing more than what they are being told to report.

There are plenty of other questions about this shooting that don't add 2 + 2 =4 in my understanding, but I'm hoping that is simply because they are making sure they dot all their I's and cross all their T's. It WAS a chaotic scene by all accounts!

All of that said, there is much to be concerned with in this investigation.

BUT....This thread is about Boston, and so lets keep it that way, please. If someone wants to start a Sandy Hook thread and present evidence and links, please do so.
