I know that WE are worried about the civil rights consequences of the militarisation of law enforcement.
Looking at thee flip side, how should the police respond when confronted with well-armed organized gangs who are increasingly populated with folks possessing military training?
Our issue is that we don't trust the government and seeing an accelerating trend toward law-enforcement acting as an occupying force gives credence to the mistrust.
